PHYSICAL ADVENTURES GROUP EXERCISE PROGRAM

Our Group Exercise Program is a five-day a week program conducted in one-hour increments over a four-week period and is ideal for any fitness level.  Each action packed session will be both an adventure and a challenge for all participants.  Although the program is designed for group participation it is unique in that it is also designed based on your individual ability, some will be at a higher level of activity some may be lower, however both of you will receive activities designed especially for you.

Through the course of the program, participants will inspire and be inspired by others as the trainer leads the class through a variety of exercises that progress through a variety of exercises that grow in complexity and challenge levels.

Much of the program was designed by the National Academy of Sports Medicine and is termed Optimum Performance Training.  All forms or training are woven through the program including the following categories:
  • Flexibility
  • Cardio respiratory
  • Core
  • Balance
  • Reactive
  • Resistance

As you work the program, you will achieve optimum levels of physiological, physical and performance adaptations including:

  — Physiological Benefits:  Improved cardio respiratory efficiency and increased bone density.

  — Physical Benefits:  Decrease in body fat with an increase in lean body mass.

  — Performance Benefits:  Strength, Power, Endurance, Flexibility, Speed, Agility and Balance.
